Kernow Conservation
We are a non-profit community interest company with big ambitions. We work in partnership with other conservation organisations, landowners, and local businesses to restore wildlife and biodiversity in Cornwall.
Our latest Crowdfund campaign is currently live! We are raising money to launch our Beaver Project; our biggest and most ambitious project to date.
With match funding from the Aviva Community Fund, each donation up to £250 is doubled. So please take a look at the campaign and help us reach our target by donating or sharing with your networks.
We are most well-known for our work restoring the UK-endangered water vole in Cornwall through carefully managed reintroductions.
We are also working hard to bring the osprey back as a nesting bird in Cornwall by installing and monitoring artificial nest platforms.
Remote camera trapping enables us to continually monitor an area to identify species’ presence and estimate abundance.
Cameras can be left in the field for months at a time enabling new insights into the distribution and behaviour of wildlife.
