Habitat Restoration and Management

Over time, much of Cornwall’s natural habitat has become degraded and fragmented due to human activity. Proactive conservation work is needed to restore and connect habitats, protect species, and prevent further biodiversity loss.  The control and removal of invasive species and the restoring of native species are key priorities in this area, in addition to habitat regeneration through disturbance, such as willow scrub removal or grassland management activities.  Our habitat work also provides opportunities for volunteers to get involved and gain hands-on experience in conservation.

See our projects page for more information about our current habitat restoration and management activities.
